I have a 2015 with the MIB1 radio and MDI port. I don’t care about CarPlay but would like to have that spot as a USB charger. What the best way to go about this or best kit to buy?

I just bought a 2015 MK7 S. It has the MIB1 stereo. Question I have is how do I add a back up camera without going all the way to a MIB2 conversion.

Just bought my first VW GTI MK7. It’s a 2015. 122k miles. Lots of new parts and really well taken care of. It’s still stock with no upgrades just new wheels.

Couple questions I have.

1. This is not my daily driver. I bought it to have fun and build a little go fast car. So where would you start. I started looking at ECS tuning and some other sites for an intake , exhaust and a stage one tune. What advice do you have to start or where to get parts.

2. I’m very particular on fluids for my 1977 VW bus and I imagine I should be for the GTI also. Do you follow the manual or have things changed for oil etc recommendations.

3. Are their parts or things to look for and upgrade day one. Anything you wish you did earlier to give your car a longer life?
