Las Vegas Must visit restaurants?

Will be in Las Vegas for a week in June for a convention. Anyone have some "must go" locations for food? Specifically will be near and around the Las Vegas Convention center

Clients first gen UDM died, decided to take it apart before sending it to recycling. Pretty well thought out design imo

Clients first gen UDM died due to the cabinet fan not being setup correctly. (Client's son-in-law decided the fan should pull air in, not vent out but the cabinet had no other output. UDM and his AVR basically cooked themselves to death)

Decided to see if I could repair it for use at home. Had fun disassembling it, couldn't find replacement parts so it's going to scrap. Very well thought out design and assembly.

Artnet/SaCN on Unifi Pro Max hardware?

Looking to hear both success and horror stories - heavily considering getting the Pro Max line of switches for smaller shows, say 4 to 6 universes and no pixel mapping?

Would you install the UNAS Pro 4 in a client site?

Essentially title, I have client whose old Synology unit is showing its age. They are due for a full network refresh in the fall and I'm looking to replace their Synology at the same time.

It's a residential client, the nas is used primarily for computer backups, media storage, and they use Synology Drive to sync their private data between machines.

So, is the UNAS line ready for prime time or does it need to cook a bit longer?

Has anyone given the maguffin to their players from the start?

Took a mental break from DMing for a few months, got the itch back so I'm letting the creative juices flow.

This next campaign, I'm toying with giving each player a specific random object that they eventually learn is the maguffin device broken apart and they need to fix it to stop the bbeg.

Has anyone done something like this? Did it work well? Or did the discovery flop?

Practice, multi-track recordings to learn a new mixer with?

Company purchased a new Avantis, SQ5, and QU5

Is there a database of multi-track recordings I can play Back via Dante to learn how to patch/mix/work on these mixers?

We do have the Dante Card for them

Hoping to start a discussion, I've had 2 projects come up where I'll be installing Line Arrays for a Church Sanctuary's for 400 seats or less.

For installs I typically prefer to go with passive speakers, but I'm finding a lot of manufacturers don't have small passive arrays anymore.

Is Powered the way to go this day and age?

Title essentially - I'm working on migrating from Square due to their slow but sure enshittification of the service.

What're y'all using for credit cards? I basically just need processing as I'm using Zoho Books for accounting and invoicing and then Portal for Proposals and Bids.
