This is my life now🤷‍♀️

One year since my husband introduced Ultraman to our son. You may recall my first post here, now I'm off to the deep end. I'm really enjoying the polite and fun atmosphere of this sub. Ultraman Teo will be the first Ultraman story I will be properly following, I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode yesterday and I look forward to hanging out with the rest of you.

Meanwhile my summer is completely booked by husband and kid. Ultraman Port Tower collab in Kobe, Ultraman Expo in Osaka, and another Ultraman show somewhere else apparently mid-August. Good thing he's the only grandchild, or my wallet wouldn't survive this.

No time to learn how to sew corsets. How would you add the appliques?

I have about 10 days for a sudden group costume idea and I work fulltime with a toddler. I'm a bit above beginner (past projects on my profile) but I've never made a corset before. Studying Youtube videos gives me an idea but I have no time to make a mockup and be ready to fail many attempts. Someday I'd like to try.

I know from my goth period and corsets it'll be impossible to using a sewing machine as the fabric is reinforced + ofc the boning is there. It'll be handwork. I tried finding a zippercorset but could only come upon the very expensive more breathable genuine waist support ones.

I'm not planning on really washing this thoroughly afterwards and I can redo one properly in the future. Fabric glue? Covering the front with bias tape will be rough.

Thank you in advance!
