Paying an extra extra premium for a garage to fix the car - looking for insights

So I am trying to fix the AC in my ram and it’s a evaporator leak behind the dash - which means the whole dash needs out and it’s a labour intensive job and easy to screw up with rattles and what not after.

Few garages I’ve talked to they said around 2-3k to fix everything but that’s the “boss my garage best” type of people. I took it to a premium garage (we are talking about people who are officially trained to work on let’s say Ferraris by Ferrari themselves) and they want to charge me approximately 8k for it. I completely know it’s a premium premium but as someone who really takes care of his cars and hate getting the job not perfect - is it worth paying that type of premium? Where do you folks draw a line between a premium work and “I charge him whatever I want” ?

WTS 2018 Ram 1500 - 60k

For Sale: 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI, GCC Spec

• Odometer : 120,000 km

• VIN : 3C6JR7CT2JG252779

• Specs : GCC

• Price : 60k

Single cab Ram with the 5.7 HEMI. Been my daily and mostly highway use. Straightforward truck, no major accidents, and nothing hidden.

Mods / setup:

- Profender lift

- 315 Yokohama Geolandar A/T tyres

- Front light bar + auxiliary hood lights

- Maintanance was done twice by me. First time I've fixed suspension and all the additional stuff (lower arms, bushing, brakes, all the fluids etc - all will come with the receipts as I can't upload any more photos here, second time was just the oil change 500km ago.

Overall condition:

Truck runs and drives properly, no weird behavior. Interior is clean and taken care of. Bed hasn't been abused. Just few regular small chips on the front bumper. I haven’t taken it to the desert a single time, beside Khalifa city sand patch in front of the building 🤣

Things to know :

- Tyres are still fine now but realistically will need changing sometime next year

- AC works but has a known issue, I got quotes in the 2,000-2,500 AED range if someone wants to sort it properly

- the passenger side mirror button loves to bug out - motor works but would need to look into it. 300-500aed fix per the quotations

Ownership because people "care about this"

- British-war owner owned (they bombed my country in 1999)

- Lady-driven (my wife was in the passenger seat)

- Doctor-driven (YouTube-certified mechanic so it ✨ works)

Reason for sale:

Buying RS6 avant and making questionable life choices

Price: 60k - it seems that I have put the price on the higher side the first time, so now it’s revised. Car is currently being detailed and tinted at the Stables so it will be only available for seeing after Monday.

Inspections are welcome and recommended

Considering getting a daily fun car (I do have a pickup truck and Genesis otherwise) so not only one car but will I be able to fit in? Is there any other tall people that have the Supra - I am mostly legs and from what I’ve gathered it’s worse if it’s torso tall, not vice versa? I’ll be doing the test drive next week but just want to have an idea what to expect
