I have seen these are few times at Walmart, but ran into a whole bunch today. They look cool and kind of remind me of the Micronauts. How popular are they?

Nic 707 was a pioneering NYC graffiti artist, but he was also a stand-up comedian who incorporated original raps into his comedy performances. He wrote a number of genuinely funny rap pieces, although very little of that side of his work was ever recorded.
“The Royal Disening” is one of those pieces. Nic's original lyrics survive and were later published in the graffiti art catalog, InstaFame Phantom Art: Vol. 1, The Nic 707 Collection.
It's essentially Nic casting himself as an outrageously arrogant medieval king who also happens to be an MC, boasting about his supremacy while threatening rival rappers with dungeons, lions, archers, catapults and increasingly ridiculous royal punishments.
No recording of Nic performing this particular rap is known to survive, so his original lyrics have now been developed into a recording by Kai Meiros and The Phantoms.

Is it way too late to even hope to see some DC Multiverse versions of these Batman TV series' villains? Some could even have their natural "Platinum" vetsions. They would be pretty hilarious, especially with the new 2-pack on its way. A pity, really...
Just got him at a local GameStop... I think I have more Superman figures than Batman at this point!
This is a nice looking figure in an excellent package. I think this might be the best Elite figure yet.
It looks like all of the Targets here in Florida are in the process of revamping their collectibles aisles and displays. This display was setup in Plantation, Florida, and it had a bunch of articulated sports figures from McFarlane Toys, apparently in 1/12th scale or so. They look pretty cool and were priced at $19.99.
First Hellboy, now Kratos? You don't know how long I have been waiting for a decent sized Hellboy to display alongside my 7 inch DC Multiverse figures. So you can imagine how pleased I was when the champion -- the "king" of 7 inch scaled figures -- announced such a release. You can also imagine my stunning disappointment when he materialized at a measly seven or so inches. He should at the very least be 7 3/4 inches... very frustrating. Then Kratos suffers the same fate as well. "7 inch scale" doesn't mean make everyone 7 inches. They got Arthas right and he vanished from the shelves. Is McFarlane going to abandon this scale? It is very disenheartening.
It still boggles my mind that Susan Howard, the actress shown on the left in a more conventional role as Donna Culver Krebbs on the show Dallas, portrayed Kang's wife, Mara, on the ST:TOS episode, The Day of the Dove. Her features are quite striking in Klingon makeup. What's funny is that she is so naturally fair-skinned, she is hardly recognizable.
I am trying to kitbash the Justice League Taskforce Superman with the newer Action Comics 1000 Superman. The problem I am facing is that while the legs can be swapped, the shoulder pegs of the Taskforce just won't plug into the AC1000 torso, unless you remove the shoulder cup, which doesn't look very good and the arms kind of flop around. Swapping shoulder cups doesn't work either since the cups are much to big. The shoulder pegs on the AC1000 arms are a bit longer, but to remove and replace the JL pegs would be a pain and I am not even sure they would be deep enough once swapped. Has anybody any experience with this combination? Any ideas, opinions, or thoughts would be appreciated.
Various Superman, Aquaman, and Batman figures have found there way to many Ross Stores here in Central Florida... buy no Supergirl figures. Really interested in using her parts for customs. Are they just being bought up so quickly?
Is it too late for the 007 franchise to get the "Ultimate" (or "Ultramate") treatment? Sean Connery could get at least two figures, Roger Moore could get a couple of more including an astronaut suit. And wouldn't it be fun to have a David Niven version of James Bond? What about the villains, like Jaws, a classic Blofeld (I'd go for removable heads depicting Donald Pleasance and Charles Gray's portrayals), Dr. No, Baron Samedi, Tee Hee Johnson, Mr. Scaramanga and Nick Nack... I guess you would have to have at least one signature villain for each of the Bonds. Too bad the recent ones are so boring and uninspired. If they just concentrated on the Connery/Lazenby/Moore era they would have more than enough to work with.
ROBIN: Holy Camelot, Batman! What took so long?
BATMAN: He said something about getting the door lugs "just right..."
Next time someone complains about McFarlane figures having poor articulation, sick this guy on them! LOL!
I fixed my Art Asylum/Diamond Select Gorn figure, whose hands literally sheered off on contact, with some screws. I just screwed the screws into the pliant plastic and snipped off the ends to screw the hands onto the other side. Looks good and they can still rotate if I want them to.
The Gorn have now made peace with the Federation. The Tyranids... Now that's another matter entirely!
When McFarlane released this DC Classic Superman, I didn't think he was anything of the sort. He is one of the few Superman figures that brightens up a shelf, though, in color and in spirit.
Even after all these years, the original Knightfall Batman release is still one of my favorites.
