Should I send my horn in to be cleaned?

I’ve had my horn for around four or five years and never cleaned the rotors. It belongs to the school I go to and is ridiculously old, likely thirty or forty years old. I’m not going to take the rotors out but I used my phone camera to take pictures down the slides. This is what I found and I’m mildly disgusted, knowing they’re not supposed to be this color. Is this so far gone that a good bath wouldn’t fix it? Does it need deep cleaned by a professional?

I don’t know what to do I’m

I don’t know what kind of succulent this is nor do I know what to do with it. I bought it for a dollar and thought, “wow! Cheap succulent that looks somewhat healthy.” However as soon as I took it home it fell over in its pot and has no roots at all😭 I don’t know what the species is because all google will say is it’s leggy and nothing else. I have other succulents but this one is so odd. How do I salvage it? Do I propagate it?🥀 Any suggestions would be appreciated.
