ElegooSlicer doesn't show CC2 camera feed under Linux

I have a new CC2 printer, and I can connect to it fine from ElegooSlicer under Ubuntu. Everything seems to work fine, including printer controls, printing history, etc, but the camera view always appears to be loading, and never shows the actual camera feed.

On a different laptop running Windows, the camera shows up just fine under ElegooSlicer. Is there a Linux-specific issue with the current version of the slicer software, or could this be caused by something else? The ElegooSlicer version is 1.5.22, and the CC2 firmware is version is listed as V02.01.00. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Adding a filament change without an AMS

I know how to add a pause in the slicer to allow me to do a manual filament change during the print, but how can I also mark it as a filament change? Most of the time this doesn't make a difference, but it can in cases where the second filament has different print settings (e.g. if one is PLA Basic, and the other is PLA matte). Also, it would be nicer for the preview visualization to see both of the filaments.

What does *not* work is adding a filament change in Bambu Studio instead of a pause. In this case, I can see the filament change in the preview, but it does not pause at this layer. Also, it seems to be impossible to add both a pause and a filament change.

Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds for this?

Does anyone use PHA for its material properties?

I know the main draw/benefit for PHA is biodegradability/environmental sustainability, but I was just curious if anyone prefers it strictly for its material properties? If so, what kinds of things do you prefer to print with PHA, and why?

Are there any downsides to adding an AMS?

I've had my P1S for a little over a month, and I'm beginning to regret not having purchased the P1S+AMS2 bundle instead.

This may seem like an odd question, but are there any downsides to adding an AMS? The advantages of multicolor prints, filament backup, etc. are obvious of course. I'm wondering though how often the AMS itself can cause issues that require troubleshooting, how much maintenance it requires vs. just having the printer, etc.

Does anyone choose not to add an AMS just because of added complexity, or wish that they hadn't? Thanks for any thoughts or advice!
