Great experience with USAA homeowner claim
Just had to share my recent experience filing a claim for wind/hail damage. I've been a member for 45 years with banking and insurance products. Called USAA on 5/12 to open the claim. Immediately assigned a desk adjuster, received communications regarding next steps within 1 hour of my call, the field adjuster was assigned and contacted me within 2 hours then met with my roofer the next day 5/13, additional communications/phone calls along the way. Received notice on 5/14 that my claim was approved, on 5/15 notified of next steps, on 5/18 I received a settlement letter and preliminary funds were deposited into my USAA bank account. ALL WITHIN 6 DAYS, including a weekend. I am very pleased with the customer service so far and want to let folks know that there are indeed positive outcomes.
