Looking for a PG near DSCE — Budget 8-12k, Veg

Hey everyone,

I'm a first-year CSE student at DSCE, originally from Noida, UP. Looking for a good PG near college.

Requirements:

Location: Walking/short commute distance from DSCE

Budget: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000/month

Food: Pure vegetarian mess/kitchen preferred

Roommate: Would prefer sharing with a fellow student (college-going, not working professional)

If anyone knows good PGs in the area or is themselves a DSCE student looking for a roommate, please DM or comment. Also happy to hear recommendations even if you're not looking for a roommate yourself — just need genuine reviews of PGs nearby.

Hostel & Mess Fees for Veg Food at BMSCE (COMEDK)?

Hi seniors, I'm getting into BMSCE through COMEDK this year. Could someone currently staying in the hostel help me out with a few things:

What's the hostel fee (per year)

What's the mess fee, specifically for vegetarian food?

Is veg mess quality/quantity decent, or should I plan on outside food sometimes?

Any hidden charges (caution deposit, maintenance, etc.) I should budget for?

Would really appreciate inputs from anyone in a veg-only mess or who knows the current fee structure. Thanks in advance!

Do BMS College of Engineering (or Indian engineering colleges in general) require a physical anti-ragging affidavit, or is the online antiragging.in submission enough?

Hey everyone, I'm a bit confused about the anti-ragging affidavit process for admission.

I know AICTE/UGC requires both the student and parent to submit an anti-ragging affidavit (Annexure I & II) every year. My question is:

Does the college also need a physical notarized copy submitted at admission, or is filling out the form on antiragging.in and downloading the undertaking enough?

If a physical copy is needed, does it have to be on stamp paper, or just plain paper with a notary/oath commissioner's signature?

Has anyone who's already gone through BMSCE admissions (or a similar engineering college) done this recently — what exactly did they ask for?

Would really appreciate it if someone who's been through the process could clarify. Don't want to show up with the wrong paperwork on admission day. Thanks!
