Hi guys, i'm trying to build a [[Maha, its feathers night]] control deck for bracket 3, and i have a few issues. First of all, what win conditions does mono black have? I am pretty new so i'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but all i can think of is [[rise of the dark realms]] or some infect shenanigans, that i'm not really into. Any suggestions about that? Also, this deck is very good at dealing with creatures of course, but waht about otherr things, like artifacts? do i just have to deal with that being on the board or am i missing something? Any suggestion is welcome, either about this or for the deck in general

This might be a stupid question, but it's been bothering me for a while. From what I understand, Gael is searching for the blood of the dark soul, and has been for an incredible amount of time. Once he spits it out, his goal is finally fulfilled, and he becomes hollow. But how come he is incredibly more capable when hollow? The best explanation I can come up with is that as long as he remains sane, he has to withstand all of his hardships, suffering and loss consciously, and all the years of pain accomulated is too much to bear, so he moves as best he can, but once he goes hollow, all that goes away and the only thing that remains is a highly skilled and I credibly soul rich warrior. That tho isn't what usually happens, hollows don't retain their martial prowess and usually flail uncontrollably. Is there something I'm missing or mixing up? What is your opinion? I am very interested in knowing what you all think about this

Hi guys, say i have a way to cast anything at flash speed, like a [[leyline of anticipation]] or [[emergence zone]]. If i have 3 tokens attacking, then during the declare blockers step my opponent decides to block them all, can i cast a [[bone-cairn butcher]] giving them deathtouch and thus killing the blockers, or do i have to do it before, or after like during damage calculation? How does it work?

Hello everybody, I want to build a deck based around artifacts. The idea is to have a giant army of machines, maybe giving them myriad trough [[blade of selves]] or [[legion loyalty]] and swinging for lethal. Building around the construct token that gets +1/+1 for each artifact in play seems the way to go, and the first commander I saw was [[urza, chief artificer]]. So far I have only one deck that is in Mardu colors, and esper seems a good transition to explore a new color with while still maintaining a similar play style and colors, but i am not completely sure about urza. The only thing it does the moment it hits the battlefield is give an ok anthem, and black in most deck lists I saw was almost useless in this play style. Am I missing something? Does somebody have a better commander suggestion for this kind of deck I would like to build, or a deck list for this urza that would like to share? I was looking for low br3, able to sit at a br2 table and not pub stomp if I am the archenemy but still able to hold my own at a mid br3 table, if that is even possible, with a budget of around 150. Hello everyone, i have been playend edh for about 6 months, and have played an aggro mardu deck, that was an upgraded version of the mardu surge precon, and a rakdos aristocrat deck. I would like to explore green and blue as colors, but since i don't know many cards in those colors i am struggling to find a commander. I would like it to be at selesnya, but blue and green + another color is good too. I was thinking of playing something on the controlling side, maybe blink since one of my frinds has an [[Atraxa, grand unifier]] blink deck and the interaction with blinking cards + [[Vencer, shaper savant]] + something like [[Panharmonicon]] really caught my eye, but that is also negotiable. The problem is i don't really know how control wins games, and what to look for in a commander. Do you have any suggestions on something fun in those colors? I was aiming for bracket 2/3.
