Did anyone else's pilot come on the PA and sing God Bless America at you?

About 30 minutes into the LHR - PHX flight the pilot comes on the PA system and announces that because of America's [the country, not the airline] 250th celebration they were going to pass out chocolate and serenade us God Bless America in its entirety. 10 hours later, it was followed up with The Star Spangled Banner exactly as we landed.

Special foodie experiences - Scotland

I am interested in any special/unique dining options in Scotland for this summer with vegan options. Things like farm dinners, incredible views, picnic set ups, foraging walks or anything maybe more described as an "experience" as opposed to just a fancy meal.

We have afternoon tea booked at the Signet, which is the closest I've come to finding something with dedicated vegan options. We will have 2 weeks, a car, and will be driving around most of the country so location is flexible.
