Has anyone had a successful outcome after cubital tunnel surgery? I am weighing th pros and cons.

My 15 year-old male has respiratory issues and my vet has recommended lysine as a supplement. We’ve already tried Vetoquinol treats and he will not eat them. Can anyone recommend a product that their finicky Cat enjoys?
