So we have an agricultural land as ancestral property in my father's name.

My family details are: parents (85 yrs old), elder brother (married and children), elder sister (unmarried and unemployed) Me (married and children)

Me and my brother are living seperately. Sister is living with parents and they are bearing all her expenses.

My sister and mother has brain washed my father in selling our ancestral property. However, me and my brother are insisting to keep our share of land and rest they can sell. We will register our share of land in our name.

The reason being: (1) If we can get agricultural land in our names then we can further buy agricultural land for investment as we will become registered farmers.

(2) my father will most probably sell land with combination of black and white money payment. They'll only give us the share in white money which is mentioned in sales deed and keep the black money part to themselves. Like this me and my brother will get only peanuts in our hands as white money part will be less.

Now my parents are trying to bring a court order so that we cannot bring any stay order on sell or any legal objection.

What can we do now?

So I have purchased an apartment in a gated society in Ambika Township, Jivraj park. I am yet to shift there. The society has few towers of 9 floors each.

The bore water got depleted in my tower in Feb and since then we are dependent on water tankers. The same is the situation of other towers.

But since last month even the tanker supply is erratic and even that too at sky high prices. Now water comes even less than 1 hr in a day.

I think there is next to nothing supply from the municipality. The society committee members had already complained to RMC but I don't think there was any resolution on this.

I lived in Mumbai and Middle East many years but had never faced water crisis like this.

Is this normal in Rajkot or is it limited to this society? How do you guys manage this? Any solution, suggestions, pointers?

So I want to install profile and rope lights in my POP and furniture. I spoke to couple of electricians and they are asking for 3K for a 2 hr job (just labour).

Is this what electricians charge here always?

If anyone knows good electricians then plz let me know.
