What are they?

A few days ago, I saw these weird white things in the very bottom of the substrate. I assumed they were parts of the substrate, but one of them appears to have moved.

They’re squeezed against the glass. in the first picture it looks like something moved and left a tunnel. There’s more in the second picture, the vertical shaft is from me poking a thin stick at the mystery object.

The substrate is store-bought and premixed. I just need to know if anyone has an idea of what these blobs are because I‘m scared they could be a threat to my tarantula because they look alive.

I may be overreacting due to this being my first tarantula but i’d just like to know what the blobs are.

EDIT : Image search said it's some sort of mycelium that will die on its own and poses no harm and that the tunnels are the fungus' growth, but I'm not 100% sure. It might be that the misting of the plants trickled into the lower layers of the otherwise dry substrate and let the fungus grow

Helios' first cricket!

I decided to put a cricket in to see if they were hungry and they went for the cricket immediately! I did get a video, but the quality was bad. So here's a picture of Helios with the remains of a cricket in their fangs xD

I'm getting my tarantula soon and I need name suggestions

The spider is a Grammostola pulchripes, I don't know the gender, and I'm already considering Helios and Eclipse as names, but I'm not really sure.
