Quartz DIY Watch Question

Hope this is the correct place to ask this question.
I'm thinking of assembling my first watch using AliExpress parts, as so many others.
I'm thinking of using a Quartz movement, from what I have read it requires less maintenance compared to a Automatic - but I might be misinformed.
Anyhow, I'm trying to find a Quartz movement that includes date, and none of the VH movements seems to have dates.
I saw the Ronda 515.24h, including spacers to fit it into a NH35 case.
But there are almost no dials for it.
So my questions are
A) Are there better Quartz movement that include a date? Better as in quality, more options for dials, etc.
B ) Can you use dials for other movements? E.g. a Nh35 dial on the Ronda 515.24h? Worried the date hole or the dial feet won't align.
C) If you can mix and match dials and cases, anything important I need to be looking out for?
