Setting up accounts and managing bankroll

I decided I want to focus on arbitrage and see what the results bring. I have a solid bankroll of ~$25k, but I live in a non-legalized state. Thus far, I have signed up for Kalshi, NoVig, Polymarket, Prophet X, and Onyx. After doing some research, I also created accounts at several offshores (Bet 105, Bookmaker, Bet Online, and Bovada). I’ve yet to deposit funds anywhere because I’m confused as hell about how to allocate my bankroll. How are you all approaching this? Has anyone figured out how to optimize the process with the aim of reducing deposit and withdrawal delays/friction, staying as under the radar as possible for books that might limit (in my case, just a few of the offshores), and just generally keeping the arb machine chugging along? It seems like a full-time job in its own right, and I have a fear that I’m going to screw up and not capitalize on a decent bankroll.

Can you arb with just access to PM exchanges?

New to sports betting and have been researching arbitrage. The main problem I have is that I live in a state without legal betting, so I only have access to PMs and daily fantasy. Are there enough opportunities with PMs and daily fantasy to make arb worthwhile? I currently have a $25k bankroll. Should I also investigate offshores, or are they not worth the risk?

Narrow or broad focus?

Expanding on a previous post, I've been doing a lot of reading and research this weekend in hopes of starting to put together a strategy and framework for betting. The general consensus seems to be that straight bets are much preferred to parlays if the goal is consistent, long-term profits. Is there any counter to that? Do parlays make sense when just starting out or should I just stick to straight bets? Also, how is everyone deciding whether to specialize in one or two sports or bet on a variety of them? And what about straight player props vs. team? I'm inundated with options to choose from.

Equities trader interested in sports betting: similarities/differences?

As the title says, I've been an equities trader (options and futures) for ~4 years. It started with the goal of earning some supplemental income, but it transitioned to a primary source of income (I also do some consulting in my former professional field) 18 months ago. I love trading and the independence and financial flexibility it's given me. However, I'm interested in expanding to sports betting. Separate from my trading capital, I have a $25k bankroll that I'd like to allocate to sports betting. Theoretically, if my capital went to $0, I would be comfortable with that and it wouldn't cause too much stress. I have to admit that I'm a bit lost on where to start and how to approach this. I'm trying to think about it the same way I approach trading, but I'm not sure if that's the right way to go about betting. I imagine there are several people here who have done (or still do) both. Can you help me think about similarities/differences?

Also, as a practical consideration, I've read a lot about using multiple books and trying to shop for best lines. Unfortunately, I live in Atlanta and traditional books aren't legal in Georgia. I opened a Kalshi account and made a few small bets. How limiting is this going to be for me? Are there any other alternatives?

I'm not sure I fully understand assignment risk

As the title says, I'm not sure I grasp assignment risk. Since I started actively trading a few years ago, I've spent 90% of my time with futures and cash settled indices (SPX, NDX, RUT) with the remainder of positions being single leg options on American style tickers. One of my main strategies now is opening 0 DTE long butterflies on SPX, RUT, or XSP, sometimes symmetrical and other times broken wing. I obviously never have to worry about assignment and managing positions requires very little thinking.

I'm thinking about trying to replicate the strategy on more tickers, but I'm confused about how to manage. For instance, if I open a butterfly on QQQ or SPY with 0 DTE expiration, am I at risk of getting assigned if the short legs are ITM before 4 pm?
