Week 2 of Total Knee Replacement Recovery
Switching to weeks now—it’s much easier to keep track!
I’m officially in week 2 of my total knee replacement recovery, and I’m making progress. Today I reached **117 degrees of bend**, and when I straighten my knee, I’m only **2 degrees away from completely flat**. I’m proud of those numbers!
Physical therapy should honestly be called *physical torture* sometimes 😂 But truly, I know my PT team is doing an amazing job helping me heal, regain strength, and prepare for the next surgery. My left leg needs to become strong enough to fully support me when it’s time to have my right knee done.
A special shout-out to Saul—thank you so much for the remote Reiki. Thank you, thank you! Saul is my Reiki teacher and master, and I truly appreciate the support. I’ve also practiced Reiki healing on myself, and it has been a meaningful part of my recovery.
Tomorrow is a big day: I see my surgeon for the first time since surgery. They’ll assess my left leg and change my dressing. Fingers crossed that everything is healing well! 🤞
