Layers - Alder forest on Camano Island, WA [OC]

This intimate woodland scenes celebrate the intricate architecture of the forest. Rather than isolating a single tree, it explore how trunks, branches, and foliage weave together into living patterns. Light filters through the canopy, revealing moments of structure amid apparent randomness.

What You’re Looking At?

If you guessed clouds, snow, popcorn, cotton balls, cauliflower, or sheep, you’re way off :-)

This abstract photograph was made in Death Valley, where salt crystals have formed a landscape that is very unique upon close investigation.

Sunset at Deception Pass St Park [OC] [2048x1365]

The Deception Pass area is famous for powerful currents, swirling waters, and enough drama to keep photographers coming back year after year. On this evening, however, the water was relatively calm while the setting sun painted a golden pathway across the bay. For a few minutes, it looked as though nature had thoughtfully installed a scenic walkway to the horizon. Yea, I relished every minute of this experience! (Salish Sea, WA)

Greetings, just curious if anyone has had problems with tiny areas of Red River metallic photo paper flaking off? Not sure that is the best description, but very small part to the image don’t print and are white. Red River support indicated it might be dust. However, I have made an effort to blow off the paper with no success. Unfortunately, it is happening to almost 80% of the sheets. This particular size is 9 x13.” Any thoughts?
