New shirt and merch August 13th?

Sorry, I cut off the part of the post that they just say August 13th.

Wierd to use the old MLS logo when the shirt is from the pre-MLS era.

The font on the name and numbers might win me back to buy it. And I'll buy that jacket 👌 .

Snatch - Whitecaps style

Stumbled across this today for the first time, while looking for the Proclaimers' White Is The Colour. Can't believe I've never seen it before.

Brilliantly done.

Caps injury management.

At some point do we start to ask questions of the Caps themselves in how they are managing their players physical well-being? The turf is shit, players get injured at every team etc etc but it seems like going on a solid three years of this situation now. Key players getting injured and/or reinjured. How much can be just bad luck?

And I'm not blaming the team. I'm an idiot on the internet, not a doctor or physio. More just trying to see what others think about it.

Well done Whitecaps and City of Burnaby

Last night was such a great experience. It was obviously nostalgic for a lot of people, but even on it's own merits I felt they really pulled it off. The kids area, the food truck options, getting the bleachers right in at the pitch, allowing flares and so on. Also also the staff and security were friendly and happy looking.

Overall, just a great night and result.

Anyone know what the home end will look like Wednesday?

Will it be temporary bleachers for standing, or just ground level standing behind the goal? Because tickets were sold as GA, I'm not sure what capacity there is for the end. I saw on Instagram today that the other end looks like just tents.
