Canada - Bosnia match, negative ticket prices?

Canada - Bosnia match, negative ticket prices?

Anyone else seeing this today on the FIFA Last Minute sales portal for Match 3? Category 1 and 2 at negative prices (ie. free)? Lol

I know it was their decision but it's a damn shame Montreal isn't a host city

Torontonian here but I'd say no city in Canada or the US is better equipped to be a World Cup host city than Montreal. Such a pity they're not getting the chance and this tournament is worse off for it.

EDIT: I think some people are missing my point....I'm not talking about the clear issues that come from dealing with FIFA. I'm talking about how culturally speaking it's a shame a gem of a city like Montreal isn't going to be showcased.

How to Watch All FIFA World Cup Games on TV?

I’m trying to figure out how to watch every FIFA World Cup match on TV without missing any games. What are the official channels or services that usually broadcast the full tournament in the Canada?

Looking for the simplest way to follow all matches in one place if possible. ⚽

The Shopify Links For Canada Tickets (CanadaRED Ticket Draw)

I've seen some chatter around the weird Canada Soccer Tickets shopify link -- people sharing it to help others get tickets, and others wondering if the link is a scam.

So I'll share what I've found.

The link is only intended for draw winners.

In their email to draw winners, they said:

This offer is only valid for the email address associated with your CanadaRED account and is non-transferable. Any tickets or access associated with this offer may be cancelled if transferred, shared, or used by someone other than the original recipient.

So if you're sharing the link, I don't think it's going to work for anybody else. I'd imagine Canada Soccer is going to:

  • Cross-reference orders from this link with ticket draw winners.
  • Give the tickets to draw winners who ordered.
  • Cancel any orders from people who ordered but didn't win the draw.

So if you didn't win the draw, you're either just wasting your time or maybe accidentally lighting your money on fire.

For others who've said the shop link looks scammy.

Canada Soccer replied to my email saying:

Shopify is an official payment platform of Canada Soccer and is safe and secure for use when completing transactions related to FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets allocated through Canada Soccer’s Participating Member Association ticket allocation process. Fans can proceed with confidence when completing their ticket purchase through the official Canada Soccer process and payment links provided.

TL;DR: The shopify link isn't a scam, but you need to be a draw winner to actually purchase your tickets through it.

CanadaRED Premium Tier Gift

Has anyone recieved their gift yet? I got an email back in early April asking me to make sure my mailing address was up to date, to ensure I would receive the “Spring 2026” gift.

We’re 22 days from the World Cup. I was assuming we’d receive this prior to it.

Canada v Bosnia Parking

Hello 👋

Not sure if this is the place to ask this but here we go,

I’ll be driving from Pennsylvania to Toronto for the Canada Bosnia game and question about parking. I saw a news outlet video today of them saying it’s not recommended to drive to downtown Toronto where the stadium is at during the World Cup and best to use public transport and to park your car outside the city.

Any recommendations for parking outside the city? And do i need anything like a pass for public transport
( I’m a USA citizen)

Thank you !

Selling Vancouver tickets FACE VALUE

Hey everyone,

When I originally bought tickets I had no choice but to buy either 6 games or no games so I went with 6 and I'm gonna attend 3 of those, not trying to make money just want what I paid for the other 3.

Selling Cat 2 tickets, 4 tickets together 430$ a seat, 1720 for all 4. 2 different games left.

NZ vs Egypt

NZ vs Belgium

Thanks!

Let’s Make it Happen: Free World Cup Viewing Events in All 1M+ Pop. 🇨🇦 Cities

The World Cup is well under a month away and we still don’t have free tournament-long viewing events in all Canadian cities with a population of 1M+. I’m not just talking about the games Canada plays, I’m talking about all of them.

All we need to do is organize.

I am confident that we can still make this happen. There is not a doubt in my mind that people will be more than willing to volunteer, but we need to create the framework.

I had been wanting to start trying to make this happen months ago. I got caught up in how compliant the host countries have been with everything going on in the world right now.

Now that it is so close and that almost all tickets are sold, I want to make sure that our country makes the most of it.

This could be the highlight of the summer for so many Canadians. This is how we introduce new people to the beautiful game. This is how we make the most of the privilege of being one of 3 countries to host the biggest event in human history. This is how we come together.

I know there will be informal places to watch games, but they will cost money and be scattered. I know there’s this thing called “Canada Celebrates” apparently coming to 40+ Canadian communities, but it will only be in each for 1-2 days.

I am aware this goal may seem laughably ambitious, but I can’t just let things go the way they seem like they’re going to without at least trying to make some change.

We can make a group and start planning how we are going to make this happen. Any ideas on who to contact or how to go about this are greatly appreciated. We have to work together.

Who’s with me?!
