Important notes
- The lottery will open on May 25 at 10am. New Yorkers can enter once a day and it will be capped at 50,000 entries per day.
- Those who win tickets will receive free round trip bus rides to MetLife Stadium.
- Tickets will be non-transferable and they will dispense them directly to winners at the bus boarding location.
- There will be a variety of methods to verify that only New Yorkers are buying these tickets.
- Weah and McKenzie were both born in NYC so that explains why they’re a part of this initiative.
Weah added this to his speech.
“As a kid, it was always a dream to be in stadiums playing, and if I can help the next kid get to that stage, it's a wonderful feeling.
“And the mayor has done an amazing job with making these tickets accessible to New Yorkers, and you know, my job is to bring joy and to put smiles on faces.
“So I'm going to do exactly that, while standing by his side and making sure that we can make it easier on anyone.“

Influencer “It’s Mint” just uploaded a video with supermodel Patricia to clarify the situation, saying he didn’t sexually assault her or lock her in a room. He’s been getting a lot of hate today due to those rumors. But people still don’t believe his claim, pointing out Patricia’s facial expression.
This all started because Patricia made a vague status saying, "Yote mar lite kya tar har." Then a video file of her phone call to a friend surfaced, where she was heard screaming and someone taking the phone away from her.
Many people started attacking “It’s Mint” online because rumors spread saying he’s sexually violating her and has locked her up in a hotel. Nobody knew the truth.
Because “It‘s Mint” is a Muslim and has Indian/Bengali heritage, there are a lot racist comments toward him. Some people are worried this could spark another ethnic tension between Bamar Buddhists and Muslims.
Even after they uploaded this video together, many people haven't accepted this as the truth, pointing out Patricia's uneasy facial expression. They're worried he is forcing her to make the video with him.
