Klopp: "The club was built on Kenny's soul and Stevie's legs,"
Klopp clearly has them equal at the top of the list of greatest Reds.
After winning the PL title in 2020 Klopp dedicated the success to the greats the club was built on, singling our King Kenny and Stevie G as the players who laid the foundations.
"Sir Kenny Dalglish is the soul of this club. His understanding of what Liverpool is and what it means to the people is vital to everything that we do."
"Steven Gerrard is the legs. He carried the club in so many ways as a player, and there is no one who deserves this title more than he does."

Name an incident in a Liverpool game which outsiders would think was completely random but Liverpool fans would be able to identify exactly where and when that game took place.
I'll start: Curtis Jones red card against Spurs.
Jordan Henderson suffers freak injury after falling over advertising hoardings celebrating England’s win over Mexico (get well soon Hendo!)
>Jordan Henderson suffered a freak injury after falling over advertising hoardings while celebrating England’s 3-2 win over Mexico at the Estadio Azteca.
>England lead 2-0 in the first half thanks to a double by Jude Bellingham, but Jarell Quansah was sent off in a wild second half as a 10-man rearguard action clung on through an onslaught from the Mexicans.
>But England’s joy was sullied by Henderson’s injury. The players went over towards their own fans to sing “Wonderwall” as they have after all of their World Cup wins, but as Henderson climbed back over the hoardings on to the pitch, he fell on his arm and stayed down in pain.
>Medics attended to the midfielder before carrying him back to the England dressing room on a stretcher, and Henderson’s World Cup could now be over.
>Thomas Tuchel told ITV: “Not good, not good. Jordan fell over and injured his wrist, it looks really bad.”
>Jude Bellingham added: “He’s in a bit of bother, but our medical team have got everything under control. Probably best for me not to say too much. We’re there to support him.”
Alisson and Brazil are out of the World Cup following a loss to Norway. Alexis Mac Allister and Victor Muñoz are the final two Reds in World Cup contention.
Gerrard on being named number 1 in Liverpool's greatest

Gerrard: "I feel very flattered and honoured."
"I think people have maybe recency bias, is it called, where I've played in the recent generations, if you like."
"But there've been some incredible players before me and after me, so I'm extremely flattered and humble. Thank you."
"We've had unbelievable players, teams. I think sometimes, and I do it more now since I've retired, you sit back and realise who you've played for, how lucky we are to be part of this club and family and stuff.
"I appreciate it even more now than when I played.
"I mean, wow… I didn't expect that, by the way. I didn't expect that."
