2 day trip suggestions

My wife and I will be taking a trip next week for a couple of days in Stowe. We love the area but aren’t super familiar as we’ve only been one other time.

We will have our 2.5 year old son as well as my 70 year old parents so, both extremes.

Looking for a few suggestions of some activities or places in the area that would be good to do/visit for both a young child and older parents.

Far walks or difficult hikes obviously not ideal. If there are any scenic drives or viewing areas that are worth a visit please let me know!

As far as food, anything but seafood will be good. A good steakhouse or pizza joint, we aren’t picky but do want a good meal.

Wife also really LOVES mac and cheese so maybe a place that has a good offering in that dept. would be nice too.

We plan to hit the gondola sky ride even though my wife is going to kill me (not a gondola/ski lift lover). That is about all we have planned though.

I know Ben and Jerry’s is around as well, we’ll probably poke in there but it’s not a huge ticket for us.

I’d really love some personal suggestions from locals or some maybe less known spots that are hidden gems (if you’re willing to share!)

Thank you in advance for any help/responses I appreciate it!

[Player Career] Recommend My Starting Team

5’9” CAM from Portugal beginning my career. Looking for a good starter team, give me some good ones!

Teams can also be selected from the following leagues:

Brasileirão Série A

J1 League

Super League Greece

Must Haves:

Teams can be chosen from any league EXCEPT any English league, La Liga, or MLS.

Team must have at least 1 CAM position (LAM/RAM ok)

Teams current starting CAM can’t be an all star or high potential player. I want to fill a void.

How do you like to sort for the jobs you take?

Total price? Price per distance? Something else? What’s your preferred method

Need some guidance (traditional and Roth 401k)

So my company offers both traditional and Roth 401k. I have 5% going into each for a total contribution of 10% each week.

Traditional side gets a 50% match up to the first 5% of pay. That is currently invested into the TRowe 2055 target fund (20% of fund distributions)

Roth 401k gets no match. I have this invested in the fidelity s&p 500. Company doesn’t offer many other good options here. (80% of fund distribution goes here)

I would like to also have a global/intl fund and am debating between the two in the attached pictures but having trouble deciding which may be better.

Looking for some advice on which intl fund I should choose, and also how I should change my fund distribution % which is currently the 80% s&p and 20% target fund. Or, if should stay with just these two funds right now and not change anything.

Please keep in mind I am extremely new to this, I was guided to do the Roth 401 through my company rather than a separate Roth IRA.

Edit: sorry I should add I am 38 with a 2.5 year old, I make roughly $73k/year.

37 Y/o, about to open my first ROTH IRA… need guidance.

As the title states. I’m a complete noob. I’ve been trying to research over the last few weeks and I’ve definitely learned a bit so far but, it’s a lot.

I am looking to open a Roth IRA for the first time. I was thinking of opening an account with fidelity, but I see Sofi seems to have high ratings and was curious which may be better to go with?

Is there an amount of money that is good to start with? What should be my goal to start with is I guess what I’m really asking.

Any recommended strategies or funds considering my age?

If it helps, I do have a 401k through work that I currently contribute 10% to. They match 50% of the first 5% of pay. I started very late and only have about $10,500 in my 401k.

Not sure if it’s beneficial to include my gross earnings but thats usually around 73-75k/year.

I also have a HYSA account with more savings in there.

I don’t want a headache. I want something I can grow with low stress but would still yield me decent results so by the time I am ready to retire I actually have a little something.

If there is any other info that may be helpful please let me know. I appreciate any help, this is all very daunting to me.
