Owner Violates Basic Health & Safety

So, relatively new to restaurant management here. I've always tried to run a tight & clean ship, and expect all my staff to abide by normal food safety rules. However, due to three of our full time staff quitting within two weeks, we had to pull in one of our 3 owners to help.

He seemed to be fine the first week or two, doing the job as expected. But recently, he started seeing "ways to improve." Some were good ideas, but most weren't. His favorite, and one he's been pushing on FOH staff, is rinsing metal bar cups & milkshake cups in the hand sink. And reusing them. No soap. Just hot water and place it on a towel to dry.

He has all sorts of basic bad habits too, like washing his hands in prep/dish pit sinks or prepping veg without washing. I'm getting tired of correcting staff every single day and unsure how to even approach the guy about this. I tested the waters and kinda got a "so what" response. He will be there another good 1.5-2 months too.

TLDR; Owner washes dishes improperly in handsink, washes hands in dish/prep sinks, preps veg without washing, and tells staff to do the same.

Saturn Aura Alternator

Hi, just bought a 2008 Saturn Aura XE. It is the 4 cyl. It had a bad alternator which was replaced with a working, used one. I imagine I'll have to buy a new one sooner rather than later, but I saw a lot of options ranging from $80 to $500. Would it be better to go with the more expensive new or the remachined? Also, which brand would be best here?

2008 Saturn Aura

Hi, I was looking at a 2008 Saturn Aura on FB Marketplace for a first car. It has 108k miles, and the owner claims it is all good aside from a "charging system" issue. The photos look good to me, and they even have a video. It has no tags, but they claim to have the title/bill of sale.

The car spec is an XE 4D with a 3.5l V6. It is in the Portland, OR area, so little risk of rust if its lived there. They dont show the underside, so Im still a little doubtful it has none. The video seems to show no engine lights, all electronics work and I dont hear/see and engine problems. They want 1800, and I only need it to run for a year while I look into newer cars.

Also if it matters, I commute only 2.5 miles to/from work, but might need it to do the occasional 200 mi round trip for work as well.
