Am I overthinking every little change?

Does anyone else find themselves paying attention to every tiny change once they start focusing seriously on their health? I'm starting to wonder if I'm analyzing things too much. I know everyone's journey is different, and I'm not looking for a diagnosis. I'm more curious whether other people had to learn to step back and stop examining every little thing. How did you find a healthier balance?

Realizing that my habits are changing feels like a victory

One of the things I am learning is that progress isn't always something you can immediately see. I have started becoming more aware of my habits and choices instead of automatically doing things out of routine. That feels meaningful to me. It's easy to overlook changes like that because they don't show up as a number. What has been your favorite non scale victory so far?

I'm trying to focus less on the timeline

One thing I'm trying to work on is not constantly wondering how quickly everything is supposed to happen. It's easy to compare your progress with someone else's when you see everyone's updates online, but everyone's circumstances are different. I'm trying to remind myself that consistency matters more than comparing my journey to somebody else's. Did anyone else have to work on this mindset?

Nausea came back after my dose increase. How long does this last?

I went up to 0.5mg yesterday and today the nausea is back with a vengeance. I thought I was past this! Is it normal for side effects to reappear with each titration? How long did it take for your body to adjust to the higher dose? I'm struggling but I don't want to go back down.

Checking in: 3 weeks no junk food no regrets

I just realized I haven't had fast food or processed junk in 3 full weeks. That is a record for me. Normally I would have caved by now. I'm not saying I am perfect I had a cookie the other day but I am making better choices overall. Posting this for accountability. I am proud of myself.

This sub is literally getting me through...

I don't think I'd still be here without this subreddit. I don't have many people in real life who understand this journey. My family tries but they don't get it. Here, everyone just gets it. The good, the bad, the burps, the tears, the tiny wins. .

Anyone else get crazy fatigue the day after injection?

I did my second shot yesterday and today I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I slept 9 hours and still feel exhausted. Is this a common thing? Does it get better over time? I want to be active but I can barely get off the couch. Share your fatigue stories and how you push through.

I didn't finish my entire plate for the first time in forever

We went out to dinner last night and I ordered my usual favorite pasta dish. I ate about half of it and genuinely felt FULL. Not I should stop actually full. I pushed the plate away and didn't feel deprived. My husband looked at me like I had three heads. This is HUGE for me. I've been a clean plate club member my whole life. This med is rewiring my brain. What NSVs are you all celebrating this week?

Week 1 check-in: Down 3 lbs! Not huge but I'll take it

Stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down 3 lbs. I know it's mostly water weight but I don't even care, I'll take the win! My side effects have been manageable (some nausea, a little fatigue). I'm starting to feel more confident about this journey. For those in Week 1 too, how's it going for you? Let's celebrate together!

How long did it take for you to feel the appetite suppression?

I took my first dose yesterday! I know it's only been 24 hours, but I keep waiting for that quieting of food noise everyone talks about. I don't feel much yet maybe a little tired, but that's it. For those of you further along, when did you actually notice the suppression kicking in? Was it immediate or did it take a few days? I'm trying to be patient but I'm so curious

Just signed up with Emerge! What should I expect in my first week?

Hey everyone! I finally pulled the trigger and submitted my intake form with Emerge today. I've been lurking here for weeks, reading all your stories and honestly, you guys gave me the courage to do this. I'm nervous, excited and a little scared of the unknown. For those of you who've been through the first week what actually happens? When does the medication arrive? How soon after do you take your first dose? And most importantly, what do you wish you had known before Day 1? I'd love any and all advice.
