Moving into an apartment at 19.
Hello movingout redditors, I am a 19m and I just paid my deposit on my apartment and I should be getting the keys this Friday.
I’m reaching out to see what some recommended order of operations you guys have used to transition easier. I don’t have a lot of stuff and it’s just a studio because that’s all I need but I’m just a big freak when trying to maximize efficiency and order.
As of right now I think I start going through my stuff at my current residence, and tossing what ever I don’t need and boxing what I do need. After that before the actual moving I am thinking of deep cleaning the apartment and then starting the moving in process. But also I don’t know if I should get utilities setup first or what ever.
Any suggestions and pointers are greatly appreciated. If you notice any flaws that I have not listed please let me know.
