Anupamaa's OTT viewership drops. Beaten up by HOTD3. 🤣
Old TRP system is dead. ITV industry enters a data-dark period.

Trp has been suspended. But that doesnt increase the longivity of any daily soap. Broadcasters require linear mass data to operate daily soaps and ads money rely on them. But when there will be no trp, there will be no pressure either. No script butchering either. So now they will be operating in a data-dark period where they will be bound to experiment with variety of genres and format to see whats working amongst digital audiences. This also means several shows will be ended abruptly. After all they have no trp, they will have to trust on their own internal digital data, social media engagement and third party online data. Every new show could be finite and planned for max 50-60 episodes. They could bring miniseries too. This period is exactly how OTT operated in its initial years. It can sustain for weeks or months.
What are your thoughts ?
OLD TRP SYSTEM ENDS !!!!

I cant believe its finally happening. 😍😍😭😭
Is Sony shutting down ??

Not a single fictional show is airing on Sony. Atleast do a couple of finite or mini series. How are they even justifying that heavy 30 rupees subscription fee with two mid reality shows and 24*7 telecast of Crime Patrol. 😂
Team info

Thursday Promo
Seems like they are foreshadowing an open exit for Rajendra.
I am enjoying current episodes so much.
All because current episodes are not featuring basu family especially Indrani and Shreya. I was like so tired of seeing their annoying faces all the time. The show feels like a quality show without this typical family drama. Tinni and Shrisho's scenes are fine. Even Neil is fine. But whenever they show the family i start recalling its Leena's show. Really want the mumbai track to extend for few weeks.

Juhi Mui | First Episode Review [[ Endearing Pilot ]]

Juhi Mui is an urbane, breezy and realistic legal drama with romance and slight comedy. The narrative is inspired by Extraordinary Attorney Woo. But the show is almost like a solid adaptation. Juhi Suri an LLB graduate, daughter of Rajendra Suri belongs to an affluent middle class family. Her father and brother are her protectors who protect her from the world. Juhi is a prodigy. Her way of speaking and behaviour everything has heart in it. I liked Eisha Singh's performance in first episode. Sanjay Suri as Juhi's father nailed in his role. I genuinely think Juhi is surely going to be an iconic FL in the future and will be remembered for years in ITV history.
Positives - As this is a properly made finite series targetting urban/affluent audiences, the production quality is fantastic. Great cinematography with an eye pleasing color grading, minimal heartwarming background music and real locations. Nothing loud or OTT. Reminds me of Dahleez production's design from StarPlus. The editing is quite sweet and instantly reminds me of EAW. Juhi's dynamics with Sanyam Singh is also cute. Episode ending with life lessons like Balika Vadhu is a nicer addition.
Negatives - So far her extended family looks like a red flag. They are silent bullies.
Conclusion - The show is an inspiring watch. Its sharp on details and high on storytelling. The show is very ambitious which already seems from its first episode. All in all, it was an outstanding pilot episode as it kept me engaged till the end. Lets see how the show shapes up. I am excited because its preshot finite so there wont be any butchering from channel.
Amrita Sakhuja was my Shayla !!!! 😭

Next month on 26th july, 2026 Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana will be a 5 years old baby. 🤧 Miss them a lottttt. 😭 ZMGA was my fav show in 2021. Amrita was such a fighter lady. Amritam were my roman empire !!! ❤️ I wish in an alternate universe the show ran its course. 😭❤️
StarPlus and its strange obsession with annoying family drama genre in romance driven shows.

I will never understand why on earth the channel adds so much family drama in romance genre shows. On one hand, they market the main leads on social media for social media attention and on the other hand, they force family drama in the show despite knowing the audience hate it. I have never seen anyone from the trp audience saying they prefer family drama in romance genre soap as it gives them a great time. Channel has this extremely weird perception that family drama brings trp in romance genre shows. Even in today's date when the whole channel is flop their romance genre shows have 65% family drama and 35% romance genre. Other shows are still family dramas but these shows are marketted as romance dramas then why have so much FAMILY CHAOS when it dont even bring trps anymore. Why not just show the main leads and their relationship development for once. Yeah for side characters, put the younger lot of the shows or main leads's friends or colleagues etc. But why showing a whole bunch of joint family tree consistently targetting the main leads. If you wanna show the family drama only then hype family members in the promo and not the main leads. As simple as that ! Its very... Its very irritating ! 😒
