Security at the Hilton remembered us from last year

Security should be making sure we’re safe and not fighting… the amount of people I saw pulled out of the pool and had their wristbands cut was absolutely absurd. So many times I saw them pull and search people just for them not to have anything on them. A girl hitting her vape got accused of doing poppers or bumps and she was literally just chilling. Little dick bitches on a power trip

First week at new job since leaving ALDI

The difference is night and day. To have 6 people working at once was a dream come true. Even if it’s chaotic and the phones are ringing off the hook and we’re getting pulled in all sorts of different directions…
Also customers are way nicer and respectful, they don’t destroy the store anywhere near as bad as Aldi was tore up on the daily. I’m actually able to have conversations with my co workers and be personable!! You have an hour to shop each curbside/ delivery order that way you can also help customers or jump on another task without stressing about your numbers. Like the company’ actually cares about the shoppers experience! It’s just all new and yet shocking to me but honestly I love it, it was worth the pay cut.

BEWARE OF UNDERCOVER COPS

Be smart!! They are among you and trying to catch you slipping!!! Don’t ruin your weekend getting caught up by an undercover cop dressed as a clown!! 🤡

PS: I’m serious about the Clown!!!

New employee. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly!!

I just got hired as a Lead and start next week! I’m coming from a very fast-paced, low-staffed, high-stress grocery management background, so hard work and chaos don’t scare me lol.
I’d love some honest insight from current or former employees:
What’s something you wish someone told you before you started?
What are the hardest parts of the job?
What makes people stay?
How’s the company culture/store culture really?
Any advice for succeeding as a Lead/Key Holder?
What should I learn ASAP?
What are truck days/load days like?
Is there anything new hires tend to struggle with?
How’s payroll/staffing usually?
What’s the most underrated or unexpectedly good part of working here?
Overall, do you enjoy working at Tractor Supply?
