Hi! Staying back in the motherland for a few days, but everywhere has changed so much since I lived here so I’m completely out the loop.

Can anyone help with recommendations on where I can get some midweek dinner and not feel like a complete loser eating alone as a woman?

Staying at Furzton and have a car so can travel about. Bonus points if it’s not too expensive! Willing to try most cuisines, but not a fan of Thai. Other than that I’m pretty open.

I know it’s late, but does anyone know where all the smoke is coming from? I’m very close to the top of Sprowston Road and Rishi area and the air has been thick with smoke for at least an hour. I’ve now had to close my windows because it’s so thick.

I’ve had a look at the live incident feed for the fire service but I can’t see anything relevant. It’s smells like bonfire, but surely no one would be so stupid in this heat, and with all the incidents today!

I just hope everyone is ok. Seeing the big plumes from my window over at Mousehold earlier kinda shook me up, and it’s a little scary there’s more smoke again so soon after.
