serious post-secondary regret

I keep on submitting secondaries that I spend days on just to realize I contradict myself in one sentence so if they read my primary too close they will get suspicious even tho the contradiction just needs clarification, wrote the wrong name for a free clinic, straight up answered a prompt wrong, grammar mistake, told an irrelevant story. I am loosing it.

Questions about MU-COM, AZCOM, CCOM, and NOVA

So I got a secondary for MU-COM and sent in my primary for NOVA. I am debating applying to AZCOM and CCOM. I live in Virginia, have no connections to indiana, florida, arizona, or illinois. Should I waste my time sending in the secondary for MU-COM and NOVA, and should I even apply to AZCOM, CCOM? Also I am not religious

does NYIT not accept updated LORs after submitting secondary?

I am getting a physician letter that is being added in a week or two. I already submitted secondaries for schools that do not require a physician letter. I did not realize NYIT didn't accept updates to your application after u submit the secondary. Is this true?

adding LORs post-verification?

I was missing a physician LOR and the doc i shadowed a few wks ago agreed to write me one. He will probs upload it to interfolio by the end of this week or next week. Do I need to email the schools to update my application to reflect my added letter? I am so excited, I can now apply to all the DO schools! My list was limited.

The urge to just sit through Casper, not answer anything and take the 1st quartile

Prepping for this exam seems like the biggest waste of time

should i apply to all 3 pcom campuses

I am from DC, so obviously I am close to Philly and also enjoy urban environments. I also feel I align nice with their campus given my experiences, and already wrote up the secondary for it. However, I do have some rural experience from shadowing at a rural hospital/volunteering at rural pop-up clinics. Also all of my extended family lives near Atlanta. I def would prefer to go to the philly campus, but would it be a bad look on me to not select that I want to be considered for admission?

starting "why us?" w a story?

So i already submitted a few secondaries for DO schools, and I began my why us essays w a few sentences dedicated to a clinical experience, and then hopped into why the school interested me based on what i learned from that experience. Is this bad? Looking back, I am extremely stressed bc I went a route that wasnt "I am interested in X because I have done Y"

Can I not apply to VCU due to 28 shadowing hours

So upsetting. I am an instate student, have 28 shadowing hours. Turns out their cutoff is 40. FML. Also before y'all ask, I never worked as a scribe, or can't split my hours bc I never worked w docs in my clinical experiences. I have over 900 clinical hours, but bc of the cutoff I cannot apply.

secondaries embedded in primaries

I did not realized DO schools did this. It is definitely delaying my app submission until probably end of June. Or should I just submit one school w/o any additional questions to get verified?

how detrimental is shadowing right before apps open

I switched to premed last may (already have a bio degree + have built up my EC's, gotten a unique MS, and have over 1000 hours of volunteer + clinical), but it took me SO long to find a doc to shadow. I shadowed a DO for a day last July, but the rest of my shadowing is from april/may/this upcoming june. I will only have 30 hours when I apply. And most right before I apply. Is this really bad?
