When we bought this house in 2014, all neighbours pitched in and we laid down a cement road in our street. At that time only half of the street had houses, the rest half had empty plots. So the road is also only half of the street.

Now all streets in my colony are built one by one by govt, just my street is remaining. Even the roads in villages behind my colony have more good roads than my street.

How do i get my street built? Who do i approach, what do i do?

I know elections are coming, they will build the road. But I don't know where to go.

I live near an IAF base, for security reasons I won't mention the name.

I was on my roof on a clear June day for a weekly routine solar panel cleaning. I heard roars from the sky.

I looked up and there they were, the most beautiful Su-30MKIs. For the first time I saw 4 of them together. I had seen them landing and takeoff earlier but always it was a single fighter going out for a sortie.

I looked up the formation on google, they were flying a low altitude Echelon formation. And then they started breaking away to the right into a U-turn consecutively. I think it was to lineup for landing and maintain proper gap between them.

Sorry, I could not get any pictures. This whole scene was over in less than a minute and I did not have my phone on me.

Previously, I have seen Dorniers, Dhruva ALHs, Cheetahs, Antonov AN-32s, HS 748 a few times, C-130J one time.

I need to get my i20 elite diesel 2016 model serviced.

It'd be a major service as the mileage has crossed over 1,25,000 kms. I need to get my EGR body and engine manifold cleaned.

So I need a expert in diesel car enignes who has such experience as this works requires high skills. I tried at some local garages but no luck.

Pls don't tell me to go to Hyundai workshop as I have some past troubles with them.

It is a residential unit of 288 sqmt or 3100 sqft with an option to commercialize ground and first floor. The front road is 60ft and it is surrounded by other plots on the remaining 3 sides.

What are the options?

Should it be used to build an independent villa type house with some small margins on 3 sides and a small lawn in front?

Or should the first two floors be built like builder floors for business occupancy and then build a third floor for residence?

What's your take? So far, the current house is 150 sqmt. So it would be an upgrade anyways.

I went in with almost no preparation. To be honest, I had started preparing since last year around Prelims 2025 but I lacked off after reading all subjects just once around Sep-Oct 2025. Since then I wasn't reading anything Prelims related, I had no notes, no revision, no PYQs practice. This was going to be my trial run first attempt.

One major insight - I did attempt too many questions, I got too many wrong.

The questions I think I got right were logical derivations, if I had read more and revised I could have solved some factual questions right too. In no way could I have solved the super dynamic CA questions. Though I solved some of them also by logic and some newspaper reading.

How did this attempt change your strategy for next one? What is your plan of action?

Should I go back to reading the standard books that I have left for almost an year or do something else?

Either if I stay at home or even when I step out, there is absolute lawlessness.

Nobody cares about the road safety, there are potholes everywhere and I am not talking about colony roads, I am talking of main roads, see Pilibhit Road for example.

Nobody cares about traffic management, there are jams almost everywhere. People are moving in wrong lanes. There are accidents daily.

Nobody cares about the electricity problem, there are power cuts throughout the whole day and night. Power comes on for 5 mins and then it is gone for 30 mins.

Nobody cares about the greenery of the city, trees are being cut down everywhere without thinking about the consequences.

Where we are now, we could have arrived if there was no governmental system whatsoever. This city seems to be growing and running on autopilot, i.e. just the bare minimum to keep the city running is being done.

How can I voice my dissent, how can I register my grievances, how do I give feedback?

I know there are systems for that also, but again the overall system is void of credibility so this exercise becomes futile.

What do I do?
