I started a D&D campaign with a few of my girl and enby friends because every campaign we found was majority men, often with some not great things to say about women in the group.
It is. So much. Fun!!! I’ve DM’d since I was a kid and I’ve never had a group that’s this into my lore and has this many fun, creative solutions. Any disagreements over rules don’t devolve into whole arguments, just actually googling the rule. (Novel idea, I know). There have been so many laughs at the table, and none of them have come from a poor taste joke about anyone’s characters.
This is all to say, for my nerdy gals and non binary pals, there is a group out there where you won’t feel objectified or pushed out. Sometimes it just takes a bit more effort on your part, as unfair as that may be.
