i don't even use my iems anymore
I got into flathead a few months ago, of my collection my favorites are my yincrow x6, snowlotus 1.0 and niceHCK yd30. I would use my iems but the flatheads are so much more convenient. i have particularly wet earwax unfortunately so I have to clean my ears out every single time I wanna use one of my iems and I've got to wipe the tips off and recleam my ears every time I take them out otherwise they don't stay in place and break the seal and it's very inconvenient. the only thing I miss when using the flatheads is sub bass and the only times I use my iems if for bass dependent music like hip-hop and certainly EDM/metal genres or when I need sound isolation like on public transport. when I first got the flatheads the lack of sound isolation bugged my but I've come to really appreciate it, I can ride my bike or walk around listening to my music and I don't have to worry about not hearing a car baraling towards me lol. I have like 8 iems of which I now use 2 maybe 3 of haha. I think I'll give them away to my friend. I was gonna ask if there were any flatheads with good bass extension or something to emulate the sound only with more bass but I'm just describing headphones lmao.
