31 [F4M] Maybe coffee with someone nice? ☕️

*REPOST*

Apparently when you close a message in Reddit, they will be gone forever 🥹 Im so sorry to those who felt ghosted 🙏

I’m just hoping to meet someone I genuinely click with. Maybe start with conversations over a good cup of coffee.

About me: 5’2”, dark brown eyes, wavy black hair, dimples on the cheeks, and curvy. I like exploring cafés and bookstores, trying new restaurants, weekend walks, and finding little places around the city. A little shy at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m quite chatty. 😊

About you: Around 30+, kind, emotionally mature, funny, and someone who has a good heart. I like a man who has goals of his own but still knows how to enjoy the simple things in life.

I think dating introduced me to a newer version of myself

At 31, i thought I’ve always known myself. I’m independent, driven, and capable of taking care of my own.

Then I started putting myself out there again.

Talking to different people made me realize that there’s a softer side of me that I really enjoy sharing with someone. I like affection, thoughtful gestures, silly conversations, and feeling safe enough to be a little clingy sometimes.

I also realized I have relationship flaws. I can be stubborn, I overthink, and I sometimes take a while to let people in. But I know I have a lot to give, too: loyalty, warmth, ambition, humor, and a genuine desire to build something meaningful.

As for what I want, I think it’s pretty simple:

- Someone kind for days when im too hard on myself

- Emotionally mature and secure in himself, one who can stand his ground but also knows how to communicate.

- Someone with his own life and goals, but who also has room in it for another person.

I thought I was just putting myself out there to meet someone. Turns out, I also met a newer version of myself along the way.

I guess I’m still hopeful. Just more aware now of what I bring to the table, the good and the bad, and what I want sitting across from me ☺️

Book Club Recommendations

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a low-pressure online book club to join. I'm based in Metro Manila and in my 30s, if that matters. 😅 I'd love a friendly group where there's no pressure to finish every book or be super active all the time. Would appreciate recommendations ❤️

Hoping to meet someone, but also scared of falling

I know that sounds contradictory, but I think a lot of people in their 30s will understand.

I'm happy with my life overall, but I think it could be even better if I found someone to share it with.

At the same time, getting hurt isn't as easy to bounce back from as it used to be. It makes you more cautious, even when you still believe there's someone out there.

How do you balance staying hopeful while protecting your heart?

31 [F4M] Coffee, conversations, and seeing where this goes

Hi! Thought I'd give this a shot.

A little about me:

-5'2", lightly tanned, wavy black hair, dark brown eyes, curvy but currently getting back into running.

- I like coffee, bookstores, trying new restaurants, weekend walks, and discovering new places around the city.

- Shy at first, but once I'm comfortable, I can talk for hours. You'll probably get random memes, voice notes, and photos of whatever I'm up to.

- Proud dog mom to a very spoiled 5-year-old Maltese.

I'm looking for someone who:

- Is around 30+.

- Kind, emotionally mature, and has a good sense of humor.

- Has goals of his own but also knows how to enjoy life.

- Non-smoker.

Happy to start with a conversation and see if we enjoy talking to each other.

If any of this resonates, say hi. 😊

Looking for a genuine connection, but first message is "can we swap photos?"

I know physical attraction matters, and I'm not arguing against that.

But I've always found it interesting when someone says they're looking for a genuine connection, yet their very first message is asking for a photo.

To me, it feels like doing an attraction check first. A genuine connection seems like something that develops through conversation, shared values, humor, and compatibility.

Attraction can absolutely be part of it, but should it really be the very first filter?

Edit: Just sharing a thought that's been on my mind. Please know this comes from curiosity, not judgment. Everyone's preferences are respected ☺️
