Car leasing company delaying a deal by 7 months

I "locked" in a deal for Renault 4 from Stoneacre leasing around March with estimated delivery date of 3 months. After 3 months, they informed me EDD is Oct '26.

Now I called Renault directly and they say the car was matched and then unmatched by the dealership. I suspect this because the R4 prices like most EVs have skyrocketed recently and they were able to cash in on it but unfortunately I cant prove this.

Whenever I raise this as an issue with the dealership they always use the line on the contract that states 'provisional delivery dates are subject to changes by manufacturers and legislation.'. But Renault are saying it was not them/the manufacturers and was actually the dealership that unmatched the car.

I feel like I'm in a deadlock as the car is about £1200/year more than it was when being offered in March and Ive already waited all this time, AI suggested I contact Ombudsman but just wanted to query if this would be best route?

Reolink Elite Pro Floodlight PoE problems

Would really appreciate some help.

I've moved over to PoE sometime ago from ring Floodlight.

The playback on official Android app is so bad and at times almost non existent and the continuous recording so bad compared to Ring . I've been waiting out 6 months in hopes an update may improve it, but no luck, anyone else having sane issue or found a fix?

Im wondering if it's because I'm using SD instead of NVR but was advertised from what I I'm aware would have full functionality with SD.

Stoneacre leasing

Has anyone had same experience as me with Stoneacre leasing? It's been 11weeks since I ordered a Renault 4 and I'm still getting an email from them stating 'At the moment there is no date on the system for this vehicle, I am checking these daily and as soon as I have received additional information, I will let you know'

The person sending the email also doesn't have courtesy to reply to emails at all, FYI timelime I was given was 8-12 weeks

Experience charging across pavement

I have a house with a front garden but cant convert to driveway.

My council (Hounslow) doesn't allow gullies (although next door Richmond do). I live in cul de sac so not much traffic, and barely any at night time. Would it be wise to run charger cable across pavement at night for a few hours with cable cover and camera on it, or is it very illegal and shouldn't chance it?
