Woke up to the gorgeous sunrise over Amble marina, then bagged 4 more trigs ✨️

Grew up in Morpeth, now I live in my van and explore our beautiful county as much as I can. A beautiful sunrise greeted me this morning over Amble marina.

Trigs bagged today:

Hillhead ✅️

Chester Hill ✅️

Freemanshill Moor ✅️

Cheeveley ✅️

Thinking of a major career pivot

I currently work in property as an Estate Agent. The pay is crap and the industry is stressful.

I've been toying with the idea for a while of becoming an HGV driver. My friend does it and loves it.

I have no kids and no real commitments at home, so would be interested in tramping as I understand that's where the best money is.

What's the easiest route into this kind of work? I've registered interest for the free skills bootcamps the government offers but haven't heard back yet.

I'm 28, F. Currently not able to fund my licence privately so looking for grants etc if any are available 😅

Fuck Transits. That's all.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE my van. But I've wasted the whole day trying to change my brake discs only to realise I've been given the wrong ones despite triple checking with the auto parts place. I've also damaged the old ones getting them off so I'm stranded until Monday. Fml. 🤙

Burned out and trying to remember why I love this life 🌅

Living in my van while converting it has been really rough recently. Tools everywhere, no storage, constantly needing extra hands / extra space / extra daylight / extra motivation.

I've been feeling pretty burned out over it all. But then I went and slept at the beach. Paddleboarded in the sunset with seals in the harbour, and woke up to the sea view from my bed.

I wouldn't want anything differently from this life... except my van to be finished 😂🌅

Do I want another window in my van?

I sat in a friends van at the weekend and he has windows on both sides and it was lovely.

So naturally I've been having an internal debate all weekend about whether I should add another window on my driver's side so I can sit on my little couch and look out.

Ovbiously can't undo it if I do decide to so need to be sure. I have an opening window on my sliding door and one in a back door.

Anyone regretted more windows?
