Don't buy them thinking you are getting the real snapdragon experience

Don't buy them thinking you are getting the real snapdragon experience

Snapdragon 888 and 8 gen 1 were the worst offenders but didn't mention them as they are pretty old now

Me and friends have/had phones with 7 gen 1, 6 gen 1 and 4 gen 2, all them showed overheating, battery draining and network issues just like Exynos

Technically they aren't Exynos but hypothetically they act like one as they are fabricated by Samsung foundry

Snapdragons are traditionally fabricated by TSMC

37-39 degrees during this summer is normal, not overheating or heating issues.don't be paranoid and stop panicking

Outside temperature is like 38 degrees most of the time so if your phone temperature is reaching 37-39 during normal usage it's not overheating, it's PRETTY DAMN normal temperature if you are not in an AC room

Overheating actually starts if your phone is exceeding 42 degrees for normal usage, most phones reach 42 degrees during charging regardless of the weather outside

Nothing happens to the phone till 44 degrees, from 45 degrees the battery starts getting damaged

Your phone will heat up more if you have an old Exynos/tensor or snapdragon made by Samsung or if your phone doesn't have a vapour cooling chamber

Are they stupid!? Maybe they are...

Redmi is launching the phone whose rebranded variant poco X8 pro is, it's basically re-launching the phone with a different branding and at a higher price

Just like Redmi note 15 = poco M8

Or redmi note 14 pro = poco X7

Lenovo idea tab pro 1 year review

The moto variant of it that is moto pad 60 pro is being sold at less in flipkart and saw some people asking to buy it so decided to post a review on it

I made an absolute fool out of myself last year by spending 3K more on this instead of the moto one because I thought moto's Hello UI won't be good but later found out that moto is also running this lenovo's ZUI inside and both tabs are running exactly the same software, felt like a 🤡 after knowing that

>screen is very good, doesn't feel like an LCD, both colours and contrast are good, brightness is only 400 nits which makes it good for indoor usage only

>Speakers are not only loud but also have significant amount of bass as they are JBL tuned

>Stylus response is good but it's good for writing and casual drawing only because it doesn't have enough pressure points for complex drawing or digital art

>Battery is excellent, easily lasts 15 hours if you are continuously connected to the internet, if not connected always then 18-20 hours, charges under 2 hours with that 45W charger

>Performance is good on it, it never lags or stutters, the processor is good enough for 4-5 years at least

> I don't like the software as I hate stock android like UI but this is wet dream for those who glaze pixel UI and nothing OS. It has all the multi-tasking features and gets the job done, I don't mind the UI because it's solely used for studies and watching pirated 2160p movies, It just doesn't have customisations

>Update situation is very bad on it because it came with android 14 and two years of software updates and it recieved both android 15 and 16 in 2025, so it's left without any updates now but it doesn't really matter because android updates are important for banking apps only and since it doesn't support a sim,it can't run those apps anyway, all the other apps will have support even when android 19 or 20 launches

TL;DR - it's a good tablet for almost everything other than the updates and a bit low brightness, the size could be uncomfortable for some

>Does it have heating or overheating issues?

No, it doesn't, it doesn't heat up more than 37-38 degrees during normal usage during summer in a non air-conditioned room, during games it does heat up like any other phone

>PS:40 degrees is considered as heating issues and over 42 is considered as overheating by universal standards for mobile phones

>Does it have battery draining issues?

Again no, it gives 10-11 hours of SOT on normal usage and for gaming it drains depending on the game, even after moderate gaming you can get 7-8 hours of SOT

>This heating and battery draining issues were present in X6 Pro that I had before but it is not present in X7 pro or X8 pro

>Poco is advertising this phone as compact phone and some people are thinking the same but it's not compact by any means which you can see in the attached image, it's just smaller than regular 6.8 inch phones because of having a 6.59 inch screen with low and uniform bezels, it is very comfortable to hold in a medium sized palm like mine though

You can DM me to ask any other questions if you have regarding this phone
