Vape/Caffeine People vs Nothing

I was wondering if anyone is like me and is slightly annoyed or amazed by all these vaping kids. I don't drink caffeine anymore or vape. I just get energy from food, good sleep, and running late (jk. Well, not really).

They're always running to the back to huff a puff. And I find their random cans of energy drink in the box, fridge, freezer, back area, etc. How am I keeping up with them on my 5th day in a row, when I haven't slept well for two weeks?

Edited: was too long and seemed negative

Each Clippers off-season is feeling like an episode of Pinky and the Brain

If I may paraphrase one of my favorite shows as a kid, I feel like every off-season Steve Ballmer asks, "What are we going to do this year Frank?" And L. Frank replies, "the same thing we do every year, Ballmy, try to take over the league (by reassembling the roster on the fly)!"

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the pieces fit in 2026-2027, but if it doesn't work out, I can't help but notice a frustrating pattern with how Lawrence Frank builds my Clippers.

Such a strategy has never worked in the modern history of the league as far as I know. But "Ballmy and the Frank" are at it again, so we may as well watch.

AcDc has more top-flight intros than any band ever

I feel like the only other catalogue of songs that compares is the classic era of MoTown. Foo Fighters certainly try, too. But nothing gets me raved up like an ACDC song intro. I'll go through the albums just bouncing from one favorite intro to another.

We really should do a ranking of them, at least the Bon Scott era plus the first two Brian Johnson albums.

What are some of your favorites?? Mine might be Let Me Put My Love Into You, the way those specific guitar shapes sound and hang in the air, but honestly a dozen others could take the cake.

Bad Idea to contest a write up?

I may get a write up for something related to punching out. It would be the second. Since the first Ive been perfect until this. The thing is, I swear I punched in from lunch...but apparently, I didn't. The point is, wtf?! I wish there were some way the system could have messed up instead of it being my fault because I remember walking up there and punching the clock, but I just don't have any proof.

If they write me up a second time as they said they would, is it a bad idea if I just say no? Because I remember punching in from lunch, and I got the punch corrected that same night before I left. It's very frustrating because otherwise I haven't had any other negative issues communicated to me. So why can't I just say no, sorry, I punched in. I do not want another write up, especially when I've been doing everything right.

Edit: just to further explain to those who feel a writeup for missed punches is excessive: I had one or two weeks where I accidentally missed three punches. I got two of them corrected in the computer that same night before leaving, but not long after I was told that more than three equals a write up. Since I had one or two missed punches earlier in my 6-month period, I guess that adds up to a write up? Or perhaps the problem wasn't that the punch was missed but that I waited too long (a day or more) to correct some of the missed punches before they were flagged?? Anyway, I'm not sure what I can do except contact HR like someone suggested.
