Was in the desert for an hour and a half last night trying to tame one and they just ignored the bait. Literally snuck up behind one. Placed the bait in front of it, and he walked past it. Also tried placing it in their walking path and they walked past it. Ended up spending the rest of my time killing every hyena I could see out of anger. (I was using the snare trap and bait)
Killed my first mammoth with a baby. Grabbed the baby. Started heading back to base and a rouge scorpion aggroed on my baby and killed it. RIP
I'm going to try and put this all cohesively, so bear with me.
I've had my CC1 for roughly 2 months now and have had moderate success with printing. I bought it new and when I received it, ran the whole shebang of calibrations that came onboard. My first couple prints of the built in prints just failed. It was probably my fault for using cheap Pet-G and not drying it out of the bag(I live in Florida and it's been humid as heck lately). So here are my questions
With standard pla, why is everything so stringy? Hotend is set to 225c and bed is 75c
For storage boxes, do you all have any suggestions from target, Lowe's, home Depot, etc? Something airtight I would assume
Any tips for printing with Pet-G? I feel like its always glooping out of the hot end. I have the hotend set to 255c and it's not laying down a good base layer. It's leaving behind little dabs when moving to another area of the print.
Please let me know if there's any additional info I need to provide or any tips you all have. I sincerely appreciate it.
