Does anyone have a recent weather update for Gokarna?

I’m planning a quick weekend trip there with my family. This will be their very first time seeing the ocean, so I want it to be a special and stress-free experience for them.

Could you all please help me check if the following places are currently open and what their ground status is like right now?

• Om, Kudle, and Paradise Beaches
• Mahabaleshwar Temple
• Yana Caves
• Mirjan Fort

Any tips on whether these are safe and manageable for a first-time family trip during this weather would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My family will be visiting me during this period, so I’m looking for a clean and decent place suitable for family stay.

Preferred locations: Koramangala, HSR Layout, Indiranagar, BTM Layout, Jayanagar and nearby areas.

Requirements:

- 2 BHK

- Furnished / managed apartment preferred

- Dates: Aug 1 – Sep 2

- Budget: Around ₹60,000

- Open to increasing the budget slightly for better properties

- Safe/residential area with decent connectivity preferred
