How would I go about making a part able to replace itself with a random model from a folder?

I did post this in another roblox game dev subreddit, but the only helpful answe I got has ended up not actually working anyways, so I'm trying again here since this seems to be a more active subreddit then the other one.

I made a little visual explanation for what I want to happen (images attached), I just don't actually know how to code (other then the very basics lol) so I just need to know what the code would be to actually make my idea work (if it's even possible, which I also don't quite know but it seems like it should be). If possible some sort of explanation to how things actually work would be nice, because I do want to try and learn how to do stuff a bit more, but it's okay if that would be too awkward.

And I do not want to use Roblox's AI at all, I wouldn't learn a thing if I did that which as stated above I do wish to do.

Above is a little demonstarion to explain what I'm thinking because I was struggling to put it into words.

For context, I wanna make a very simple setup for randomly generating rooms when the game runs (I don't care about having seeds or anything to be able to regenerate at all I just want rooms to be able to be randomly placed in a grid and then stay there permanently (In that server at least)

Is what I want to do possible, and if yes how do I actually go about doing it?
