i bought a 10kg checked bag for my bf and im wondering if they will measure it or they will just weight it?

Problem/Goal: I’m worried I might be doing too much or coming off as pushy by buying my boyfriend a plane ticket

Hi! Me (f23) and my boyfriend (23) are both living in Edmonton, Alberta.

May BTS concert in Toronto this August, and manonood ako with my friends. Yung trip namin, kasama rin nila yung mga boyfriend nila. Natapat din na that same week is our first anniversary.

At first, okay yung boyfriend ko sumama since we were planning to book discounted flight tickets through my sister who works in an airline. Pero last week, sinabi ng sister ko na isang roundtrip ticket lang yung possible niyang ma-secure—and even that is not guaranteed since last week na ng summer vacation here in Canada.

Because of that, my boyfriend decided not to come anymore. He’s currently on a work permit, so hindi stable yung status niya, and he’s trying to save money just in case may unexpected na mangyari.

Now I’m thinking, what if I just buy his ticket as an anniversary gift so he can still come with me? I’m just worried—would that be too much? Would I come off as a pushy girlfriend?
