TIFU need advice

Backstory: I told her that I drank w my mom and my sister and she lowk blew up saying how weird me and them were for it and started saying that nothing ever changes with my behavior even though I know a lot has. I just don’t think she can see the changes in my actual mindset. But I’m genuinely trying so hard to do better for myself and our relationship. Would it be wrong to say she might be being a tad dramatic about it? Or would it be wrong for me to apologize for this when why would I think this is weird when this is a normal thing for people all around me.
This is the apology- I’m sorry for acting before thinking and for how doing that might make you feel. I understand why you might feel like nothing has or will change. I’m working on it and it will take a lot of time and hard work, not promises. I care abt you so I respect any decision you could make to help yourself. TL;DR: My fuck up?

Is this a good apology text? Or just cringe help me make it better?

I’ll try not to make this too long but please read it all. I'm really sorry it feels like we've only been arguing and I hate it. I know you think I haven't changed, and I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm trying to do better for myself and for us, so I don't keep doing this to you. I know I act before I think sometimes, and I promise I'm working on it along with the other issues we have that I promise will be fixed. Clearly You're way better at handling stuff like this so hardly any of the blame can be on you and I’m sorry you've had to learn it the hard way. But I didn't go through what you did, and I wish I could take that from you because you’re the last person that deserved it. I'll fix these issues, I just need a little head start and some grace. If you can't be there for that, I understand, even though it'll be hard to accept it, I know this is hard on you too so if that’s what’s best for you please do it. All I ask is please don’t replace me because I know I can do better.
