Hey. If a program is offered in both summer and winter intake then Tu darmstadt can defer the admission letter for the next intake due to visa delay issues?

Hey. I had sent my hard copies of documents to university. According to courier service my documents have been delivered. Will the university itself confirm the receiving of documents or I have to email them?

I just got admitted to the MSc Molecular Life Sciences at FSU Jena for Winter Semester 2026/27. visa appointment waiting time in my country is currently 6-8 months, so there’s a real chance I won’t get the visa before the semester starts in October 2026.

Question for current/former FSU Jena students: Does FSU Jena/MLS program allow deferment to next intake if the visa doesn’t arrive in time? When should I contact university about this.
