Wiim Ultra + Synology NAS / feedback from users with this setup
Hi all,
I am a long time Volumio user but I am pretty convinced to jump to Wiim Ultra. I'd love to have some feedback from Synology users.
What is the easiest setup in your opinion? I'm reading a lot of possibilities (Plex, Emby, BubbleUPnP, docker setup etc) but I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.
The Wiim Ultra would be connected via USB to my preamp (MiniDSP SHD), sources would be the Synology NAS and Tidal.
Any tips for the best/easiest possible setup would be appreciated.

Ps. I'd like to avoid transcoding, since I have quite a few SACD / DSD files and would like to play them over USB without being converted to PCM.
Ps. Another concern is UI performance / speed. Volumio has never felt especially fast, even with a beefed up Rpi. I'd go for the snappier setup, in case a specific setup is faster than the others.
