Refugee from r/gamedev
I was not regular on r/gamedev or even reddit, but occasionally pop in. The quality of discussion and topics was not good that sub. Moderators are good however.
Seems like some drama a couple days ago, not exactly sure what was the issue, but therefore luckily I found this one. Looks like people are actually making games here, good to see. Especially promising new devs coming in and finding success in early results. I am in my middle years so to speak. Worked in indie studio in director role before branching off solo. Now I find more comfort and freedom, but also these days I am out of touch with industry and I see I am falling off in adopting AI :)
Best wishes to all here, keep making and showing games. As long as people actually work and and showcase their games, community will thrive. Hope to learn more about AI usage in games myself.
