There is no heterosexual explanation for this art

For anyone wondering, this is from an art collab that was posted to the official Rivals social media accounts. While most people are focused in on the fanmade swimsuits for characters like Blade, Hela, and Jean, my two gay girlies were what really caught my eye. Also I love anything where Ami looks super happy instead of her usual self in the game.

My god these bitches gay (Good for them)

I have officially commissioned what I believe to be the first DorEmma art in existence

Massive shoutout to the artist, Lumieartz on Vgen! I've ordered art from them several times for my gay little Fanganronpa characters and it's been bangers every time.

How much was actually done on the Chapter 2 execution?

I had been thinking about it lately for some reason. Chapter 2 was presumably set to release sometime this year, and the last Devlog implied some work was done on it, but not a specified amount (So for all we know nothing was done on it at the time and Tako was just saying that to build hype)

I guess it just kind of comes as a surprise to me that we don't even know what it was supposed to be called. Not to mention the fact that we saw concept art for things in Chapter 3, but not this. Haven't heard anything about the music for it either.

As far as I can tell, all we know about it is what was revealed by Hayden on this sub, which obviously tells us the contents of the execution, but not much else. Was it really so early in development that the general idea of the execution was all that was done on it?

I don't use Twitter nor am I in the Discord server, so if anything was posted there exclusively, I have no idea of its existence.

So like... I can't be the only one disappointed with 2026's character unlocks thus far, right?

(Note that I had to use old sprites for the last few alt styles since Crow and Kalin's hadn't been added to the tier list, and we haven't seen the others yet)

The cast of Five Nights At Treasure Island have had crazy glow ups in the newer Radiance Team games (Minor blood and scary content)

Five Nights At Treasure Island has remained as not only one of the oldest FNAF fangames, but one of the most iconic and enduring, with tons of continuations and spinoffs, both official and unofficial. Between those, there's been about a billion characters used for all of these games, and due to many of them being simple edits to existing models, they never looked very high quality.

But with Radiance Team's 2020 remaster of FNATI, and it's excellent sequel Oblitus Casa, many of these characters have had insane glow ups that have almost reinvented their looks entirely, and imo, the newer looks are really cool.

Dang man... the Jean foreshadowing was crazy

While players can obviously interpret FTEs however they'd like, Damon's summaries of them on the report cards gives an interesting skeptical perspective. Also I feel like someone had probably made this post before, but maybe not.

In the first picture, Damon questions why Jean would need to have such high reflexes and sense of awareness for being a ship captain. With Jean being a drug smuggler, it's likely because he had to evade the law on occasion. Even Damon referring to him as a "ninja" implies Jean was very sneaky and presumably wasn't someone who was noticed often.

The second image foreshadows his execution where he was tipped backwards and had his head dunked underwater.

Finally the last one shows just how close he is to his crew. They're his family, and he's seemingly so indebted to them that he's always giving back. While Jean would obviously make it sound like that's his own choice, if he ended up getting raised by forced into a group of drug smugglers, it's possible that a big reason as to why he was so willing to kill to escape was because he felt like he truly needed to get back to them. Maybe they required him to keep paying up or doing drug smuggling, and would get upset if he was gone for too long. Either way though, this FTE establishes that Jean is extremely close with his crew, and thus it makes sense that they would be a bigger motivator to him than the actual motivation of the chapter. So much so that he may have even been planning his kill in chapter 1.

Curious to know this sub's thoughts on my top 3 favorite ships :3

These aren't in proper order since Reddit mobile sucks. But I love me some SaiLuna, DorEmma, and AngelStorm (I can't come up with a better name for Sue and Angela😭)

I loved this Surviving Students screen so much. Most Fangans just use the characters silhouettes like mainline DR, but this was such a stylized one, and I remember being so hyped to see how it would look once more people started disappearing

This is probably gonna be a bit of a weird post for a couple reasons. First is that this isn't inherently a YouTube thing, as this is a fangame that also posts it's chapters and announcements to YouTube. Second, I'm gonna have to spare everyone the explanation on a lot of Danganronpa talk, just because it's a niche that the majority of people know little about. And finally, this post is hard for me to make, on account of the attachment I had to this game. I and many others were massive fans, and to see it fall apart this way is truly horrible, and same goes for the wonderful people who worked on it.

For some basic background, Project Eden's Garden was a Fanganronpa (Danganronpa fan project) that was announced back in 2020. It was led by a guy named Obelusk, although he was removed from the project in 2021 due to generally being very hard and taxing for the rest of the team to work with, with the new director being someone known as Tak0mori. The game was of top notch quality, featuring a big and talented voice cast, tons of high quality art, original minigames, an entirely original soundtrack, and themes of Judeo-Christian imagery as well as history repeating itself. The game would have a dramatic and grounded tone, but still make use of a lot of the comedy Danganronpa was known for. To give an idea of just how big this project got (in comparison to other Fangans), several team members made appearances at the San Japan Expo in 2023, there were several social media events for fans like February Frenzy and Eden's Island, they had an entire orchestra, and they had an official crossover promotion featuring Caine from The Amazing Digital Circus.

All in all, things looked promising, as this project was shaping up to be of just as high of quality as an actual Danganronpa game.

And then, March 30th 2026. The day that will live in infamy.

Information surfaces revealing that Faza (real name Fauzan Achmad), voice actor for Mark "Mayhem" Berskii in the series was in an inappropriate relationship in 2022. At the time he was aged 20, and his partner was 14. A petition is immediately created to get him blacklisted, as he was actually a fairly popular dub voice actor in Indonesia, where he voiced Superman in My Adventures With Superman, and most prominently, Abs Saja in the official dub of Kpop Demon Hunters.

The lead writer of PJEG (known as Sozzay) released a middling response that doesn't even name Faza or his role. After this response doesn't go well, Faza is officially removed from the project.

Problem solved right?

Far from it. More information surfaces, revealing that a friend of Faza's victim reached out to the individual who brought these accusations to light. This same individual told Ajisai (voice actor for Toshiko Kayura, who importantly was 16 at the time in 2022), and she reported it to Sozzay, who brushed it off.

Unsurprisingly, Sozzay is kicked from the project after. Aji also chooses to step away. Now it's case closed right?

If only...

A couple days after the initial wave, a bombshell is dropped by a former crew member of PJEG, who was now working on another Fangan. The controversy reminds him of an old discussion he had with group leadership when he still worked on PJEG. After going back into his DMs, he came forth with proof that Sozzay brought the allegations to the knowledge of Tako, the game's director.

And both of them brushed it off. They dismissed Aji's concerns, and acted like she was just a clout chasing kid. They actually showed more concern over a leaked sprite from the game, supposedly considering trying to hire a private investigator to find the leaker.

But there's an important thing to remember here. This was in 2022.

THE DIRECTOR AND LEAD WRITER OF THIS PROJECT KEPT A GROOMER ON THEIR TEAM FOR 4 YEARS AND DIDN'T TELL ANYONE

This was the nail in the coffin. Within 24 hours, nearly everyone still on the project left it. Most VAs, artists, composers etc.

Ownership of the project is passed on to a guy named Juvey. Sabrina Twyla (voice actor for Cassidy Amber) announces that she's working with everyone to make a farewell project. And for a while, this was where things stayed.

Until a handful of days ago. An anonymous individual leaked the game's death order and some vague plot details. It gets mixed reception, and there's general chaos, with crew members generally not denying many of the leaks, and some even confirming some of them.

Now, it has been announced that the death order was legit. While some plot details weren't correct or had little context, the fact that the major driving force of hype was now out has led to a general loss of morale for everyone hoping to continue anything with the project.

As of yesterday, Juvey has announced that Project Eden's Garden, a titan of the Fanganronpa community, was officially cancelled. I give my best wishes to all of the talented, and amazing individuals who had a massive passion project get ruined because their director chose to cover for a groomer.
