Ash’s Sceptile catching Speed Form Deoxys

Sceptile defeating Darkrai feat hails in comparison Sceptile’s speed feat of catching Deoxys in it’s speed form.

Don’t you ever catch me finding any Sceptile slander.

Now I myself may switch the rankings between Ash’s lucario, Greninja, Infernape, Sceptile and Charizard, when it comes to who’s Ash’s top 6 strongest Pokémon, (With Pikachu being 1 number almost everytime) but I know I’m consistent with my thought process.

Forget beating Darkrai

Catching Speed Form Deoxys with speed alone, not even using quick attack is an amazing feat, even for most Legendary and mythical Pokémon.

Don’t you ever, ever slander my GOAT.

Sceptile is objectively one of Ash’s top best Pokémon.

No ifs, ands or buts!

Am I the only one who read the Ranma 1/2 Manga just for the Shampoo portions of the Manga?

Me being me, as I'm slowly reading the manga, maybe I have a short attention span when it comes to the manga, but unlike the 1980s Anime, aside from Shampoo, a few fights, and comedy, the Manga is pretty hard for me to read without getting bored and moving on to something else, not like Inuyasha or Urusei Yatsura that had me invested.

Is it a Hot Take to say that Ash should’ve won the Sinnoh League if not for Tobias?

My issue isn’t that Ash lost, it’s how he lost.

Ignore the fact that prior to the Sinnoh League, Bertha and Flint, two Elite Four members actually teach Ash on how they battle.

Tobias who is revealed to own a Darkrai that had already swept every other competitor and win every Gym badge only using Darkrai. (Who were the Gym leaders anyway?)
Ash is the only trainer to defeat Tobias’s Darkrai.
Tobias then sends out a Latios, implying he has multiple Legendary Pokémon.
Tobias wins the match and then essentially disappears from the series. We never learn how he caught those Pokémon, how strong he really is, or what happens to him afterward.

A Trainer with Legendary Pokémons shows up out of nowhere to win the League and we never see him again, at all during Journeys.

As someone who loved Diamond and Pearl as a child and was first introduced to Pokemon during this season, growing up, Ash was robbed.

I also had problems with how he lost the Kalos League, but the difference is that Alan feels more like an actual character and a legitimate rival rather than a plot convenient last-minute obstacle for Ash to lose the league.

Do you think Ash should’ve had another electric type, or is it more meaningful that Pikachu is Ash’s only Electric type Pokemon?

I saw a post when in the Sinnoh series where Ash met a Luxio, and back then as a kid I didn’t really have any thought of Ash catching Luxio, but now I think I would have been nice if he had Luxio.

But then again Pikachu, is too Iconic, OP, and has the ultimate bond with Ash, for him to have another Electric type.

What’s your thought about it?
