No sale price on Land Registry

In the last few years we sold, relocated, and eventually bought a lovely home. All in England.

Our purchase price showed on the land registry very quickly, literally within weeks the registration was complete.

I've been keeping an eye on several properties that "we missed out on" that were sold and completed in the last year, out of curiosity, to see if our offers competed with the final sale.

But so far only one is showing out of 6 properties, and two in particular, on the same road, are still not showing months after the new owners moved in (we drive past them often).

So what's with the LR? Is it a solicitor thing, like they're supposed to chase? Is it just a lottery on whose file gets done first?

Any inside knowledge?

I got a brand new Stadia controller years ago and never used it. Would it work with the Switch?

As the title says, we aren't big gamers but the controller is so comfy, I wonder if it'll work with the Switch (not 2, the old Oled one).

The console is currently with my child on a trip so I can't test it, I found this community on a Google search and thought I'd ask first.

Thank you

Jisa suggestions, my child doesn't like spending his cash gifts

Jisa suggestions

It's about time I put some of my child's cash into a Jisa.

He gets vouchers and cash for presents and he rarely spends them. I swear, we have tried, but he's a content child who has never asked for much.

So today I've made him count his cash and introduced the concept of tithings and 10% savings off the top.

I told him that every time he saves any money, I'll match it, but we now need to find where to put it.

Latest posts on the subject are 1y+ old and they seem to suggest HL and Fidelity.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Edit: for some reasons I've been locked out of the post and can't reply to anyone. I have messaged mods.

In any case, the money is not mine, this is cash given as gifts, we're not talking thousands as he only just started getting such presents. So don't you worry about my ISA allowance, this is for him to learn how to save and invest. Thanks

Edit 2: post unlocked! 💪

Bought this for my LO a few years back....

Hello all, I bought this for my LO who now has quite a substantial collection of cards.

We play the game and he makes his own sets, and this came onto my hands today, so I'm curious.

It was bought on eBay just over 2 years ago for a few £.

It looks very fake to me, but it's from a 1999 set and cards were different then.

Thank you for your help. A mum.
