Did I make a mistake I just applied for my first card as the essential rewards but then discovered the qantas discovery existed which is better should I call them and change the card I’m applying for?

Hi, so the deal is I am looking for a camera to take on the go and stuff for spare of the moment photos street photos etc, I have access to a older Canon mirrorless or DSLR for serious portrait/landscape photos etc and my phone but I want something small to have for social photos and stuff and like kinda be able to just keep in a small pocket in my tote bag and other recommendations also welcome, absolute max is $1500 AUD
